the age old question is, is random really random (or does it too have a pattern hmmmmm... See why i do drugs? (just teasing of course)

Why is this blog called New Sandra?

Once becoming ill, I kept trying to do ALL the things I used to do. I slowly relalized that it was not possible to keep up but refused to change. It was like hitting my head against a brick wall. I kept trying to do stuff or go places but would end up having to cancel or cut something short. Someone kept telling me "you can't do that anymore" or "you can't do as much anymore" or "you have to change the way you do things". I still could not wrap my head around that because "Sandra" could always do whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted and however she wanted! I was changing and having to make changes, I was not going to be "me" anymore. I did not like that at all and still don't. So for me to cope I had to create another person "New Sandra" instead of admitting that the Sandra I knew and had always been just was not cutting it anymore. So now when I can't do something or have other issues I can say "Damn that new Sandra, she makes me sick!" or tell people that have known me a while, "come on, you know new Sandra can't do that or don't do that!"
